Our system maintenance plan gives you senior level system administrators maintaining your systems for a fraction of the amount it would cost to hire someone full-time.

Not all system administrators are created equal. It is easy to find a junior admin for $50/hr or $55k/year, and they may be able to plug things in and get a network set up. You may not know something is not set up or maintained properly until something goes wrong. Frequently, this means the loss of an entire disk drive of critical data or that a critical system (email, for example) is down for one or more days.

Our administrators document your systems and monitor them to detect and prevent problems before they affect your business.

Our biggest problem is that customers think they are paying us to do nothing, because nothing goes wrong.

We can work with an on-site administrator or with an on-site "power user" who is capable of helping users or doing basic computer repair. We can also send a person on site for an additional fee.

Our administrators can also analyze your network for downtime and data loss possibilities in the event of standard system failures and worst-case scenarios. That means whether you lose a disk drive or a fire destroys every computer in your server room, you will know how long you will be down and how much data you will lose, if any. And if you do not like the numbers we find, we will also tell you how to decrease them.

What is Covered

  • Existing servers and workstations
    You tell us which ones you want covered
  • Services your systems are currently providing
    Email, Internet access, Virus Protection, Firewall, Database, etc.
  • Labor for software upgrades
    You pay for the hardware and software, we do the rest

Add or remove servers or services at any time - you only pay for the systems you want covered.

If we feel a server cannot be maintained in a stable manner, we will make recommendations to correct the problems before putting it under maintenance.

The Process

Signing up for maintenance takes about 5 minutes:

  • You Click Sign Up
    • Enter your contact and billing information
      (no credit card information is collected. Once maintenance has begun, we will email you an invoice each month.)
  • We will contact you
    We will contact you via phone or email, talk about your systems and any concerns you have, and get the information we need to access and maintain your network. We will also find out what level of service you need - for example if you have an on-site person doing desktop support and want additional maintenance to be safe, or if you need someone to do full maintenance of your network, and possibly help in other areas also.
    You will not be billed and your systems will not be accessed until we have spoken with you.
  • We will start maintenance

    We will take care of your systems. We will even analyze your network and give you a report that will show what to expect in worst-case scenarios like hardware failures, server room catastrophe, or a site fire.

Scalability

Our maintenance plan covers the basics of your systems and may be all that you need. If you want additional help, we are here for you.
