Tax Form Calculators

From Grant Grueninger

I've found it's faster for me to make an Excel copy of a form rather than using the form by hand. I know there are other, more robust things like this out there, and well, you're welcome to use them. Or, you can download these. :)

I make these for my own use, and we're putting them here in case anyone else finds them useful. They're free, so please don't ask for support, and CSC in no way guarantees, warrants, or supports anything on this page.

2001 Estimated Tax Worksheets

This is the only form I've done this to so far...

You should recognize the form immediately. I just enter it straight off the paper, then add the calculations for fields that require basic (and occasionally not-so-basic) math. Just cuts down on some of the real grunt-work. Don't expect it to compete with Intuit or anything...

2001 Estimated Tax Worksheet - Worksheet 2.10 and Estimated Tax worksheets in Excel format.
The spreadsheet isn't designed for people who don't know how to calculate estimated tax - they're just a computerized version of the worksheets. You'll also need these if you don't have them:
IRS Publication 505 - Estimated Tax
2001 Form 1040ES Estimated Tax for Individuals

2000 CA Form 5805 Estimated Tax for Individuals
